KEEP BIN COLLECTIONS FORTNIGHTLY

Additional Information

A FORTNIGHTLY COLLECTION IS ADEQUATE, it saves money, helps reduce land fill and is good for the general envirenment by ecouraging recycling.

Those concerned with smell and maggots should wrap food waste in some of the free newspapers that come through the door.

In our household we recycle all foodwaste (wrapped in newspaper), all tins, all bottles and jars, all cardboard including juice cartons (special skips), and paper. At the end of mealtime washing up, rince out the above before storing.

Too many people cannot be bothered recycling and would not be encouraged by resuming weekly general waste collection, in fact quite th opposite.

The Government should use the £250,000.00 to educate people to do more recycling or, pay off some of the country's debt and decrease the interest being paid.
