To retain Northern Rock as a nationalised entity, to be serviced via Post Office accounts.

Additional Information

Contrary to current proposals, the Government should retain Northern Rock as a wholly nationalised industry, rather than simply keeping the worst excesses of poor lending and decision making as a state liability. Accounts should be serviceable in the Post Office, allowing for easy access and supporting another key state institution.
