Stop the EU dictating UK benefits policy - Say No to unemployed EU citizens taking part in UK Benefits Tourism
The EU are threatening to take the UK Government to the European Court of Justice to allow EU citizens the right to come to the UK and claim unemployment and housing benefits. If successful, this will mean that Britain will have to pay means-tested, residence-based benefits – employment support allowance, pension credit and, income support – to people when they arrive, even if they have never worked here or paid any contributions and regardless of whether they have any previous link with the UK. This is likely to cost the UK tax payer in excess of £2bn and can surely not be right|?
