Petition Action

Require BBC to send each TV License payer a regular Customer Satisfaction Survey

Petition Details

To view your TV - you must purchase a License which funds the BBC. Therefore, the least we might expect or even deserve is a regular opportunity to let the BBC know how we think they are doing and maybe, might improve. This would bring the BBC in line with other publicly funded organisations.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
