Enforce Big Pharma to contribute N% of annual profits to Mental Health in U.K.
As a young person with a history of mental health difficulties I know just how hard it is to receive the quality treatment from the NHS I need to make a strong sustainable recovery.
With government cuts abound, it is well overdue for the industry benefiting from the rise in diagnoses to pay up!
We are facing an unprecedented level of mental health crises in the U.K.
With an ever growing demand for hospital beds and meds, we need a rapid and concerted effort from industry, government and charity to reduce the level of serious incidents and proactively 'maintain', not 'manage' the nations mental health.
This will be only be achieved through new innovative legislature which targets the unrivalled profits from pharmaceutical companies and rebalances their private corpate interests.
