teach the National Anthem in schools

***NOTE FOR THE RECEIVER***
First of all, there is NO petition like this!
So stop rejecting mine with that bogus reason please, and actually read it and check it properly! I will keep re-sending otherwise, because clearly someone isn't doing their job properly. Thanks.

I think in order to mend our broken society, it's important for new generations to have a sense of national pride. Much of today's generation does not have it, and I think this lack of unity and solidarity is damaging to our nation. I would like the government to make it compulsory for the National Anthem to be taught in schools. It's a small step, but it's a start. I also ask the government to ignore any protests of this issue by people stating it's 'unfair' on foreign residents. The fact is, they're living in this country now, and should be prepared to learn about British things - just as a British person would do if they lived in America, for example. Thank you.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
The Department for Education have advised this is a duplicate of the following e-petiton: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/5928
