Abolish VAT on e-books to equalise with the 0% VAT rate on paper books.
E-books can be a more environmentally-friendly and convenient way to read for all people, as they can be read on tablets, laptops, desktop computers and even mobile phones.
More and more people are owning technological devices to make e-reading a possibility for the majority. Text can frequently be enlarged to allow visually-impaired people to access this fun, convenient and environmentally-friendly way of reading.
A huge variety of different books are now available to buy from different retailers, including the vast majority of the latest in fiction and non-fiction. As time goes by, this will only improve as more books become available to read electronically.
