Raise £9 billion a year to fund the disastrous shortfall in the NHS

Petition Details

The Kings Fund predicts an £8 billion a year shortfall to NHS funding by 2020/21. No government wants to deal with this deficit by raising income tax.

A 2p in the pound rise in income tax would raise approx £9 billion a year.
This money could be 'ringfenced' for sole use by the NHS
