Scrap the unelected House of Lords and replace with an elected second chamber.
The House of Lords has the power to overrule the democratically elected House of Commons and in recent years it has threatened to use these powers against the will of the electorate. It is time for this unelected body to be disbanded and be replaced by a second chamber of elected representatives.
