Significantly reduce administration fees for British Nationals living abroad
Obtaining necessary documents like passports, birth certificates or registering births etc seems to be incredibly, and unjustifiably, expensive for overseas nationals.
British nationals living overseas should not be penalised in such a way.
To register the birth of my son, who was born in Japan, will cost £150 to register with a further fee of £50 to obtain a copy of certificate which seems to be to be unjustifiably expensive. Passports, too, also levy a similarly heavy cost with a simple renewal costing more than £100.
These fees should be reduced and brought in-line with admin fees charged at home.
