Support Community Radio/Media organisations with a substantive funding increase.
There are now over 240 Ofcom licensed Community Radio/Media organisations across the UK, many of whom are struggling and increasingly having to commercialise their operations to survive, against the spirit and original intent of Community Radio since inception in 2002/04. http://tiny.cc/comradiofund
In addition to a substantive funding increase, a relaxation in the associated constraints on Community Radio Fund grant use (ie. what it can and cannot be spent on) is also sought. http://tiny.cc/comradiofund
