I demand the Government cap the proposed Gas and Electricity charges increase.
Many people already spend a larger percentage of their income on gas and electric than they do food. The energy companies are greedy and are holding this nation and it's inhabitants to ransom. Many people regularly left with the choice of buying food or utilities - very seldom both.
thousands of people are daily left with the choice of whether to stay warm and do not eat or eat and risk freezing to death. It is shameful they have been left to get into a position of such power. The ruling government should support those the purport to serve which is why the proposed price increases by the energy companies should be stopped and capped for a minimum of two years. I remind the government that whilst these companies yearn for increases - the people's income remains static!
