Look into the spiralling costs of funerals.
A certainty that we will all be faced with... only until it happens to a loved one how many of you have thought about the costs associated with a funeral? A basic funeral at today's price is roughly £3000 projected to rise up to £6000 by 2023*
*figures taken from one funeral director.
The above cost is bad enough but doesn't stop there as it doesn't include the following to name a few: Embalming, burial plot, memorial or headstone, flowers, catering/wake.
I recently lost my sister at the age of 32, taken early & wouldn't have put anything in place to cover the costs. As a result at what is a very difficult time for all involved we had to cover the costs.
A stress that isn't needed at a time when grieving & an issue that people then want to put behind them.
