Philip Hammond to attend the funerals of those killed by drivers travelling above 70mph.
On condition that motorway speed limits are revised to 80mph, Phillip Hammond must take responsibility for any deaths occurring due to traffic incidents in which one or more of the involved vehicles is travelling above the old speed limit of 70mph. I therefore propose that he apologise to the families of any victims and also attend their funerals.
