Abolish the House of Lords and create a Senate with less fully elected members.
The House of Lords has approximately 800 members and according to research is the second largest chamber in the world (only China has a larger chamber) and with changes in government it will only get bigger.
The Peers although unpaid are able to claim £300 a day tax free for each day they attend plus limited travel expenses. A smaller entirely elected house would be simpler, more accountable to the public and could be cheaper.
