Give Grandparents legal rights to see their Grandchildren in the UK.
Unlike the US, UK Grandparents have no legal rights & are often left devastated when family splits causes separation. It is essential for a child to have the emotional link with loving Grandparents as they grow up - in fact, it should be the child's LEGAL RIGHT.
There are numerous stories of different family situations, whereby there has been a family breakdown & often the children are used as 'pawns' to score points in domestic arguments. This should not be allowed & there should be protective measures put in place by Law, to ensure that, no matter what circumstances, both child (ren) & Grandparents are still able to maintain close, loving relationships as the child grows up - regardless of whether or not there is contact between the parents & the Grandparents.
