Why do we not all contribute an extra 1p in the pound in tax to save the NHS
At some point we have all either used, are using or will use the NHS. We all try and put something away for a rainy day, so why would we view putting money in to the NHS as anything other than an investment not a cost. We need to ensure that the service is available to all of us when we need it.
An extra 1p in the pound on tax would raise approx £4.5 billion.
