Company pensions can be drawn after 55 without having to leave the company.
I work for BT, and am over 55, but in order to start drawing my company pension I have to retire from the company, this is a recent rule change as previously employees have been able to take their pension and continue to work for the company in the same way as those in a private pension scheme

This decision is the responsibility of the pension provider. You could try contacting them with your concerns.
You could start a new petition calling on Parliament to pass a law requiring all companies to allow employees to access their company pensions from the age of 55, even if they are still working.
