Stop RMT & ASLEF unions from further strikes on Govia Thameslink Railway lines.
The government should call on the unions to stop further strikes on GTR railways. Several months of striking in 2016/17 has achieved nothing but misery for commuters and passengers, who's lives have been severely disrupted. Further strikes have been threatened by the unions will continue to do so.
Strikes have not helped resolving the Driver Operated Only doors dispute with GTR and will not benefit any of the stakeholders if more are called.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government to do to help commuters.
