Petition Action

Abolish the house of lords, as it has become irrelevant into today's society.

Petition Details

The house of lords was formed in 1295, where the elites of society would pass laws onto the common people of Great Britain. It made sure that the nobility had compete control over their population to pass laws. In 2017.

Additional Information

They receive £300 daily for signing into the house of lords, whereas large amounts of citizens do not receive that amount of money as a weekly wage. Once the Lords sign in they can go home or claim a daily meal, drinks allowance, travel expenses and pensions.

Let's do some mathematics for the £300 allowance for the 805 seats? £241,500 daily, £1690500 and £617032500 annually. With all the extras it could cost 1 billion annually.

It is an absolute disgrace for everyone in the UK to pay.
