Make it a requirement for companies to reply & give feedback on job applications
Too many times I have applied for a job and been waiting for a response, either acceptance or rejection, to not receive any reply at all.
How can anyone hope to improve their job search without feedback or move on to the next job application without knowing if they are still in contention for the previous one? This is not only counter productive to anyone looking for work but overly infuriating. As candidates we spend time filling out their forms and making ourselves suitable for them and to not receive even a basic acknowledgement is soul destroying.
