Do not reinstate capital punishment
We, the undersigned, believe that capital punishment has no place in the modern British Justice system. It fails society, humanity and, not infrequently, justice. No amount of compensation can make up for mistakes of such a barbaric system of meting out justice.
Reinstating capital punishment would simply encourage the steadily worsening attitude of vigilante-Britain and false media reports. Capital punishment has no place in Britain and we petition, and implore, the government not to reinstate it.
