The right of every UK national under 18 to have both parents reside in the UK.
In light of today's Supreme Court ruling, I argue that it should be the right of every British National under 18, to have both parents reside in the British Isles without any financial requirement.
It is an almost universally held belief that a child greatly benefits from the presence of both parents during his or her upbringing. The government should not be in the business of splitting up families based on an income threshold.
