Petition Details

We still need a 2nd House to debate and over see what the Government want to do but the Lords need to be made smaller and made up of elected members voted in by the People of the UK every 4 years on the same ballet paper in General Election

Additional Information

There is a very simple reason why big ticket reform of the Upper House - elections, or even outright abolition - is not going to happen; it would require a good two years of a Parliament so the Government just put their heads in the sand its time for Reform
