article 50 ~ Citizens ~ EU ~ EU citizens ~ European Union ~ Referendum ~ UK
Ask Mrs May to decide now, what is going to happen to EU citizens living in UK.
Following a referendum held on 23 June 2016, the UK government intends to invoke Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union by the end of March 2017.This would put the UK on a course to leave the EU by March 2019, but we know very little about the terms and consequences for EU citizens living in UK.
As the time to permanently leave the EU quickly approaches, there is very little info on what the terms are going to be for EU citizens that have been living in the UK for years and entered legally. There have been stories about people living here for 30 years, that now face deportation. This suppose family separation, or having to go live in a country that is not your home and it is not fair. We want to know now so we can plan the rest of our lives and not be treated as illegal aliens.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
