Scrap the impending Business Rate Rise. The increases are grossly unfair.
The existing system is not fit for purpose in the modern world.
If the Rate Rise is implemented, less tax will be raised, because so many small and medium size business’s will close.
The result will be a many redundancies and ‘first time’ and part time jobs will disappear.
If the new Business Rates are brought in, it is estimated that 80,000 jobs will be lost by 2020 .
A new fair and just system must be devised and agreed upon. The new system must not favour any size of business.
Scrap the impending Business Rate Rise NOW.
