You'll see from this that there hasn't been a case of polio caught in the UK since 1984. That's because routine vaccination was introduced in the mid-1950s.
The polio vaccination is already offered as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme. We're not sure what additional action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
