Increase a prison sentence on cruelty to animals to be longer than 12 months
I believe that the current punishment for offences or crimes against animals is too lenient and the law should be changed. As humans we have the human rights act to protect us, why should any animals life be differently?
I've recently been seeing a great deal of animal abuse stories on social media, whether true or not we know it goes on. I know people feel the same as I do with comments that have been made, yet nothing has happened. Let's stand up and make a change to help put a stop to this!
