Petition Action

Stop Amazon and Tesco from Tagging their Employees - Treat Them as People.

Petition Details

This has to stop - their warehouse employees have to wear tags so they can be monitored by their bosses. Amazon employees cannot be inactive for more than 3 minutes; an employee has to get restroom approval, or do it in less than 3 minutes.
Get parliament to intervene and make this right.

Additional Information

Amazon, it is reported has a "5 strikes and you are out" policy. In the post Sports Direct Staff scandal how can this continue to be right and legal.
Please sign this petition to highlight and ensure that all employees, no matter where they work, or for whom they work, are treated as people and as adults.
Tagging dehumanises people, force Amazon and Tesco to see their employees as people.
Thank you for supporting this petition.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Government can't make rules that apply to specific companies.

If you'd like Parliament to change the law, to ban any company in the UK from tagging its employees in this way, then you could start a new petition about that.
