Ensure that Internet retailers like Amazon pay retail rent and rates..
It is unfair that bricks and mortar retailers can only operate out of retail sites with A1,A2 or A3 planning permission who then have to pay retail rent and rates which typically are 500% higher than internet retailers operating from industrial B1,B2 or B3 premises.
Amazon, EBay, etc etc etc

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a petition calling for retail businesses operating from industrial premises to have to pay the same business rates as retailers operating from retail sites.
Rents are the responsibility of landlords, not the Government or Parliament, so we can't accept a petition about that.
