Halt work towards leaving the EU until after enquiries into electoral wrongdoing
It is important to ensure the validity of the vote. Following allegations in the press that data had been misused in the EU referendum to secure a leave victory, and as investigations of these kind can take many months, we would like a suspension of actions towards the UK's withdrawal from the EU.

The Prime Minister has already written to European Council President Donald Tusk to notify him of the UK’s intention to leave the EU, so it is not possible for the Government to take this action.
