Reduce the Foreign aid budget by 50% and use the money to fund the NHS
The Foreign aid budget is now 12.2 billion pounds and rising. The NHS is in crisis with hospitals and healthcare centres underfunded, and some closing due to lack of funds.
If 6.1 billion pounds was invested in the NHS instead of the Foreign aid budget the health and well-being of the people of the UK would be improved.
NHS hospitals have a deficit of 2.5 billion pounds, there is no spare money for investment in the NHS.
