Petition Action

Restrict benefits to first born children only to decrease unemployment

Petition Details

We need to help encourage low morale families who exceed in having more children to lower their chances of work.

Restricting benefits so it is given to the first child only, means that they can continue with a family and progress forward to work if they'd like another child in the future.

Additional Information

A families wealth is solveable... Killing the environment isn't

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly how you'd like the benefits system to change. For example, we're not sure whether you'd like to see restrictions on child benefit (which is paid to parents who are in work, as well as to parents who are not in work) or whether you'd like to see changes to other financial support available to people with children. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
