Add cats to the list of animals you have to legally report if you hit with a car
You must stop and report the accident to the police if you hit any:
dogs
horses
cattle, eg cows
pigs
goats
sheep
donkeys and mules
Cats should be on this list, as they are popular pets and it could help being peice of mind to the owners of missing cats.
