Petition Action

We want the Government to reconsider the proposed changes to School funding.

Petition Details

The changes to the School funding formula will mean 98% of schools will see funding fall by £339 per primary pupil and £477 per secondary pupil. It will mean job losses for thousands of School Support Staff who provide invaluable support to children.

Additional Information

Support Staff are the backbone of our education system. They help the most vulnerable children attain an education and schools cannot function without them. These cuts would mean irreparable damage to our already struggling education system. These cuts could affect the life chances of children for generations to come.
