Petition Action

Make Jaywalking illegal in the UK

Petition Details

I think Jaywalking should be illegal in the U.K as i was involved in a bad accident, knocking somebody over because they were jaywalking. I obviously got the blame as i was the driver. Although there was a zebra crossing they could have used which was about 20ft away from them but they chose not to.

Additional Information

Because theres no law against jaywalking people think they can just run out in the road and its dangerous and the driver will always get the blame! Plus if somebody does get knocked over its horrible for both parties, the driver and the individual.
