This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

It is clear that you are concerned about the legislation covering illegal drugs, but we're not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

In particular, we're not sure whether you would like to repeal all provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 or whether you would like to change the way that all controlled drugs are classified in the UK, including those controlled under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, if you would like all drugs, except tobacco and alcohol, to be classified based on the multicriteria decision analysis of the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs, you could start a new petition about that.
