Commemorate Women in the Palace of Westminster
On a visit to the Palace of Westminster yesterday, a woman commented online that "I walked passed at least 200 pictures & statues on my way to the committee room. Other than a pic of Elizabeth 1 & another including 6 Henry-wives, there were no women. Not good enough."
On International Women's Day, it is time for parliament to recognise the impact and positive influence that women have made throughout history and continue to make in modern society.
Many of these women's incredible achievements have been despite the lack of support & recognition from society. Let's stop that now.
Time to include women.
We call upon parliament to include women through it's hall and walls.
What do we want our young boys & girls to see when they visit? Their future. Together.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
