Change the immigration requirements for UK citizens with a non EU spouse
Currently the UK's immigration laws state that to bring a non-EU spouse to the UK you must have a minimum income of £18,600 or savings of £62,000. This is well above the average income. This has led to a huge rise in "Skype families", miserable and living apart due to the draconian laws.
This law is causing huge distress, so many of us want to come home, and are stuck apart, including children from their parents & adults from their elderly parents. Supposedly it is to stop a burden on the public purse, but you are not allowed to claim benefits anyway.
