Make proper funding of existing schools the priority in this budget.
Existing schools in the UK are facing severe cuts to their budgets due to a number of policies that create additional costs or loss of income. The government has failed to acknowledge this deficit, and schools are now facing extreme decisions, including: closures and staffing reductions.

Several recent policies are creating this deficit. Schools must comply but have not been offered any funding to make this possible. It affects all schools, even those who have been rated outstanding by OFSTED.
Real spending on existing schools is falling by 6.5%. https://www.theguardian.com/education/2017/feb/27/schools-to-be-hit-with-first-real-time-funding-cuts-in-20-years
