Reform Parliament to a collaborative rather than the current oppositional system
At present MPs sit in opposition as adversaries instead of working together
There would be less need for a 2 party system defaulting to oppose the government
MPs would be empowered to represent their constituents more & hold govt to account
Right decisions that might seem difficult could be made
There are examples of assemblies such as the Scottish parliament that don't have an adversarial chamber and they have been shown to be effective
Adversarial politics/behaviour leads to protectionism, delays and avoiding difficult decisions
It is timely due to Brexit, and the greater similarity between parties.
There should not be pressure on a 'shadow' parliament to automatically oppose everything the PM says.
Instead every MP has a duty and responsibility to represent their constituents

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure what you mean by a collaborative system. You could start a petition asking for the UK Government and Parliament to change the House of Commons Chamber to a semi-circular layout, like the Scottish Parliament.
