Shut all non necessary shops on Easter Sunday
It's unfair on retail workers to have to work through a national holiday, when no one shops anyway- yet some money hungry companies still open. A huge amount of Sunday workers are students, and opening on a day like this denies them the ability to spend time with their families.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you mean by "non-necessary shops", or how you'd like the Government to decide which shops are necessary on Easter Sunday. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
