Ensure that MPs are not exempt from the Snoopers' Charter
Currently the only amendment MPs wish to make to the Draft Communications Data Bill is to exempt themselves. It is undemocratic to have one law for citizens and another for politicians. If the public has nothing to hide, neither should Parliament.
While I'd rather abolish the bill entirely, that's unlikely to happen so we need to ensure that MPs experience the law the same way we would. This will prevent them from distancing themselves from the everyday lives of voters. Being a Member of Parliament doesn't mean that they should receive preferential treatment.
