Allow Scots living in other parts of the UK to vote in the next independence ref
I would urge the UK government to mandate that the franchise for the next independence referendum is extended to include all Scots currently resident within the union, whilst also reduced to exclude EU/commonwealth citizens currently on the Scottish electoral roll who aren't citizens of the country.
I moved to London in search of economic opportunity ten years ago, but I don't believe that the fact that I am not currently resident in Scotland is a strong enough reason for being shut out of the debate - especially given that the question is now being asked in the aftermath of the UK's vote to leave the European Union.
