Petition for UK Government to reject a Second Scottish Independence referendum

Petition Details

The second Scottish independence referendum due to be formally requested by Nicola Sturgeon will cost time and money at a time where Minister's and Civil Servants time would be much better utilised in delivering the best possible outcome in Brexit negotiations for the UK as a whole.

Additional Information

In addition - if such a referendum WERE to be granted then all costs, direct and indirect, for both sides of the referendum should be paid wholly by the Scottish Government with no monetary impact on the rest of the UK regardless of referendum outcome.
