STOP Government introduction of £170 'Death Tax'.
The Government want to introduce a £170 'Death Tax' which has to be paid from the deceased estate prior or burial or cremation.
The Government claims the tax is needed because they want to improve the accuracy of death statistics.
This is absulotely ludicrous. If statistics are incorrect, blame the registrars of deaths and address any failures on their part NOT impose further taxes on an already overtaxed country.
Burial and cremation costs are already far too expensive without this added cost.
