Hold a referendum to abolish referendums.
Referenda are too arbitrary for complex questions. The Scottish referendum and the EU referendum has shown that such complex issues should not be dealt with via a yes/no answer. Let's trust parliamentary democracy and abolish referenda.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure whether you want a referendum on abolishing referendums, as in the title of your petition, or whether you'd simply like referendums to be abolished, as in the text of your petition.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
