Scotland want a 2nd independence vote we want a 2nd brexit vote in the uk

Petition Details

If scotland are entitled to ask for a 2nd independence referendum we ask the uk government to stop currrent brexit talks and allow the uk as a whole to vote for the 2nd time if the uk should leave the uk. This is only fair as we cant have one rule for certain things and one rule for others.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The petition states that the Government should "allow the uk as a whole to vote for the 2nd time if the uk should leave the uk". It is therefore unclear what the petition is seeking to achieve. You could submit another petition asking for a second referendum on whether the UK should leave the EU if that was the intention of your petition.
