Make it a legal requirement that all mobility scooter owners have insurance
Scooters are a cheap & affordable means of transport for the elderly & infirm to get about. With accidents on the rise & with no compulsory insurance required by owners there is very little a member of the public can do to recover compensation when involved in an accident caused by the driver
