Charge any parent who fails to pay CSA with child neglect
I have two children from a long term relationship, my ex chooses not to contribute towards the upbringing of his children, which has forced me to go to the CSA. Unfortunately their processes are too slow, as it can take years for them to take action.
If a resident parent stopped caring for their child/children they would be charged with child neglect, so why is it so different for parents that choose not to pay maintenance payments towards their child/children's upbringing.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for deciding whether people should be charged with a specific crime. That's the responsibility of the police and the Crown Prosecution Service.
